8. Remove the floppy disk then press and hold the power button for 4 seconds to

turn the OmniBook off.

To install CD-ROM support

Requirements

♦ OmniBook 3000 with Windows for Workgroups 3.11 installed.

♦ OmniBook 3000 Recovery CD

1. Ensure the OmniBook 3000 is off.

2. Insert the CD-ROM drive.

3. Press the blue power button to turn the OmniBook 3000 on.

4. Press Esc during the Boot process.

5. Insert the OmniBook 3000 Recovery CD.

6. Press the System Off button on the back panel.

7. Press the blue Power button.

8. Press the Esc key during the boot process.

9. Select the CD-ROM Drive then press Enter.

10. Choose Exit to MS-DOS from the menu.

11. Change directory to G:\OMNIBOOK\DRIVERS\WFW\CDROM.

12. Type: INSTALL

13. Select Start Installation and press Enter.

14. Select Yes to begin the installation.

15. Press Enter to acknowledge that installation is complete.

16. Press CTRL-ALT-DEL to reboot.
