Field Function
Peer Phone Number
Enter the telephone number of the host to
which a PPP link will be established.
Authentication Mode
Press the spacebar to select the
authentication method to be used (PAP,
CHAP or None).
Username for PAP
Enter the username for PAP authentication.
Password/Secret Key
Enter the password, if PAP option has been
selected for authentication. Enter the secret
key, if CHAP has been selected for
authentication.
Type
SNP

to display the Network Parameters menu, Telnet
Parameters option.
These parameters are set using the
SNP 4
command:
