• Configured AMP Mode—Displays the currently active type of Advanced Memory Protection
based on the types available. The following connection states are supported:
◦ None / Unknown—The Management Agent cannot determine the Advanced Memory
protection fault tolerance or you cannot configure system for AMP. You might have to
upgrade your software.
◦ Online Spare—Set aside a single spare bank of memory at boot time. If more ECC errors
occur, the system activates the spare memory and disables the memory that receives the
maximum errors.
◦ Mirroring—Configure this system for Advanced Memory Protection. In Mirrored Memory,
except Online Spare Memory, all other memory banks are duplicate. If more ECC errors
occur, the system activates the spare memory and disables the memory that receives the
maximum errors.
◦ RAID-XOR—Configure this system for Advanced Memory Protection using the XOR engine.
◦ Advanced ECC—Configure this system for Advanced Memory Protection using the
AdvancedEcc engine.
◦ LockStep—Configure this system for Advanced Memory Protection using the LockStep
engine.
◦ Online Spare Channel—Configure this system for Advanced Memory Protection using
the Online Spare Channel engine. Set aside a single spare bank of memory at boot time.
If more ECC errors occur, the system activates the spare memory and disables the memory
that receives the maximum errors.
◦ Online Spare Rank—Configure this system for Advanced Memory Protection using the
Online Spare Rank engine. Set aside a single spare bank of memory at boot time. If more
ECC errors occur, the system activates the spare memory and disables the memory that
receives the maximum errors.
◦ Mirroring Intrasocket—Configure this system for Intrasocket Mirrored Memory Protection.
