8 Connect the data and power cables to the rear of the drive.

9 If a device was removed from the middle shelf, replace it.

10 If no device was removed from the middle shelf, replace the bezel.

11 Install any other accessories before replacing the cover. Reconnect all cables and power

cords.

INSTALLING AN UPGRADE PROCESSOR

As more powerful upgrade processors become available, you can replace your main processor

with a more powerful one.

1 Disconnect the computer power cords from the power outlets,. Disconnect any connection

to a telecommunications network.

2 Remove the computer’s cover and lift the power supply from it’s seating as described in

“Moving and Replacing the Power Supply” earlier in this chapter.

3 If the heatsink is not attached to the processor, unclip and remove the heatsink.
