This appendix provides Recovery Manager for Oracle error messages, their explanations, and

appropriate actions.

3PAR1003: ERROR: Could not retrieve user id and group id for username <name>.

REASON

Failed to retrieve the user information for a given username.

SOLUTION

Review the configuration file and make sure all parameters have up-to-date values. Check if the

user name is correct, and check the Recovery Manager for Oracle log file for more information.

MESSAGE ID

1004

SYMBOLIC NAME

RMO_ERROR_USERID_NOTFOUND

3PAR1004: ERROR: Could not retrieve user ID for user <name>.
