Adding New Users

The system administrator or a user assigned the Administrator privilege level must

set up each user on the Management Appliance before they can log on and

perform tasks. You must assign each user one of three privilege levels. See “User

Privilege Levels,” on page 23 for information about this topic.

A person must be a Management Appliance user to receive notification of network

events. See “Monitoring Events,” on page 57 for more information about

notification.

Use this procedure to add a new user.

1. Click Settings on the primary navigation bar, and then click Users to display

the Users page with a list of current users.

2. Click New to display the Create New User page (Figure 20).
