Did the System LED on the Front Panel Turn On?
See “System LED Indicator” in Appendix D.
Answer Possible Reasons The Next Step
No There is a broken connection between
the system board and power switch.
The system is not connected to AC
power, or no AC power is available.
A power supply problem exists. The
power supply may not be connected or
inserted properly, may have a damaged
connector, or it may have failed.
The power supply backplane may need
to be replaced.
There is a broken cable connection
between the system and backplane.
A system interconnect problem may
exist.
Further information is needed.
