Changing the toner cartridge
Note
You will feel some resistance when you
open the toner door. Opening the toner
door conveniently lifts the toner cartridge
for removal.

Open the toner door, and remove the
old toner cartridge. See Recycling
toner cartridges or the recycling
information inside the toner cartridge
box.
CAUTION
To prevent damage, do not expose the
toner cartridge to light. Cover it with a
piece of paper.

Remove the new toner cartridge
from the packaging, and gently
shake it from side to side to
distribute the toner evenly inside the
cartridge.

Bend the tab on the right side of the
cartridge to break it loose.
