The Summary of settings window opens, displaying your user

name and company name.

6. Click Con ﬁgure.

The conﬁguration process b egins, displaying a slider bar. When

ﬁnished, the Conﬁrmation window opens, indicating that DPM

has been successfully conﬁgured.

7. To start DPM, select Open DPM 2006 Administrator Console

when the Mini-Setup closes.Then,clickClose.DPMopensina

few moments.

IMPORTANT:

When DPM 2006 opens, a help window is displayed. Use the help

information to complete the following conﬁguration tasks:

•Conﬁgure the server.

•Installdiskagents.

•CreateaProtectionGroup.
