Specifies the name used for

the iSCSI initiator on the

booting system. The initiator

name length can be a

maximum of 223 characters.

If the initiator name string

contains non-alphanumeric

characters, it should be

enclosed in quotation marks.

-initiatorip parameter

is required if the

-networkparamdhcp

parameter is set to

disabled.

Specifies the IP address that

the iSCSI initiator uses. This

value is in dotted decimal

format.

NOTE: The -mask

parameter is required if the

-networkparamdhcpparameter

is set to disabled.

Specifies the IP network

mask that the iSCSI initiator

uses. This value is in dotted

decimal format.

-mask

xSpecifies the default IP route

that the iSCSI initiator uses.

-gateway

This value is in dotted

decimal format.

NOTE: The -vlanid

parameter is required if the

-networkparamdhcp

parameter is set to

disabled.

Specifies the VLAN number

that the iSCSI initiator uses

for all sent and received

packets. Valid values include

VLAN numbers between 1

and 4094.

-vlanid

NOTE: The -targetname

parameter is required if the

-iscsibootparamdhcp

parameter is set to

disabled.

Specifies the name of the

target from which to boot.

The target name length is a

maximum of 223 characters.

If the name string contains

non-alphanumeric

characters, it should be

enclosed in quotation marks.

-targetname

NOTE: The -targetip

parameter is required if the

-scsibootparamdhcpparameter

is set to disabled.

Specifies the primary IP

address of the iSCSI target.

-targetip

xSpecifies the TCP port

associated with the primary

-targetport

target IP address. The default

value is 3260.

xSpecifies the alternative

target IP address for use if

-targetip2

the primary port is

unavailable.
