Volume On the X P array, a volume is a uniquely identiﬁed virtual storage device

composed of a control unit (CU) component a nd a logical device (LD EV)

component separated by a colon. For example 0 0:00 and 01:00 are t wo

uniquely identiﬁed volumes; one is identiﬁedasCU=00andLDEV=00,and

the other as CU = 0 1 and LDEV = 00; they are t wo unique separate virtual

storage devices within the XP array.

VSC Volume size customization. Synonymous with CVS.

WWN World Wide Name. A unique identiﬁer assigned to a Fibre Channel device.
