7. To add the Virtual Machine to the VirtualCenter inventory from the Datastores browser:

a. Right-click the desired VMX file and select Add to Inventory.

b. Continue to follow the wizard.

8. Locate the newly imported VM, right-click and select Snapshot\Snapshot Manager.

NOTE: If Step 2 is not performed and the virtual copy is not application consistent, continue

on to Step 10.

9. From the Snapshot dialog box, select the base snapshot to revert to the time of the created

snapshot, and click Go to.

a. When the snapshot revert operation is complete, click Delete All to remove all snapshots.

b. Click Close.

10. Update the network setting for the VM.

11. Power on the VM. If you see a question mark, right-click the VM and select Guest\Answer

Questions.

12. Answer the following promoted questions to begin using the VM.
