TIP: To delete a selected Recovery Set, right-click the selected Recovery Set, and then click

Delete.

The Confirm dialog box appears.

6. Click Yes, to confirm deletion of the selected Recovery Set.

The Recovery Set deletion task is submitted, and you are prompted to confirm the deletion.

The Recovery Set is then removed from the Recovery Set list.

NOTE: You need to perform a similar procedure to delete Recovery Sets on a datastore.

Modifying Recovery Set policies

The Recovery Set policies can be defined for a given Virtual Machine or datastore.

NOTE: This version of RMV supports Recovery Set policies for remote copy groups. The primary

policy is enforced on both Storage Systems for primary and secondary sites.

To modify the policy of a Recovery Set:

1. Navigate to the vSphere Web Client home page.

2. Click VMs and Templates.

3. Click a VM, and then click Recovery Sets on the left navigation pane. System displays all the

available Recovery Sets in the Recovery Sets tab under Related Objects tab.

4. Select a Virtual Machine to apply a set of policies.

5. Click Actions→All HP 3PAR Recovery Manager Actions→Set Recovery Set Creation Policy.

The HP 3PAR Recovery Manager Recovery Set Management Policy screen appears.

6. Specify the following details in the HP 3PAR Recovery Manager Recovery Set Management
