where:
<tput_value>—Maximum throughput limit and size unit. By default, throughput is
measured in KBps. Optionally, you can specify the size unit (GBps, MBps, or KBps).
<target_name>—Target name (for example, backup system name)
3. To start the volume groups, issue either of the following commands:
# startrcopygroup <group_name>
or:
# startrcopygroup -pat <pattern>
Removing Throughput Limits
To remove throughput limits, follow these steps:
1. Stop the volume groups by issuing either of the following commands:
# stoprcopygroup <group_name>
or:
# stoprcopygroup -pat <pattern>
where <pattern> represents the pattern of volume group names to stop (for example,
Group*).
2. To reset throughput to the default value of 0, issue the following command with a valid size
unit:
# setrcopytarget tput 0{g|G|m|M|k|K} <target_name>
3. Restart the volume groups by issuing either of the following commands:
# startrcopygroup <group_name>
or:
# startrcopygroup -pat <pattern>
Troubleshooting RCIP Autonegotiation Issues
By default, HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage systems use autonegotiation for the RCIP GigE interfaces.
However, autonegotiation does not always function correctly, which results in different duplex or
speed configurations for the system’s GigE port and the local switch port. This discrepancy causes
a significant impact to performance, and it can prevent the remote-copy links from coming up.
To correct an autonegotiation problem, follow these steps:
