set initiator

Description Sets the proﬁle (operating system) associated with the initiator. If the proﬁle

is not set for an initiator, a default proﬁle is assigned.

Syntax set initiator <initiator> profile=<proﬁle>

Operands <initiator>

ThealiasnameoftheiSCSIinitiator.

profile=<proﬁle>

The operating system proﬁle to associate with the initiator, where <proﬁle>

is one of the following entries:

windows—fo

rMicrosoftWindowsservers.

linux—for Linux servers.

hp—for HP-UX servers.

openvms—fo

rOpenVMSservers.

tru64—for Tru64 UNIX servers.

solaris—for solaris servers.

netware—fo

r Netware servers.

xp—for XP servers.
