Displays LUNs assigned to logical volumes. LUNs (logical unit
numbers) are address numbers assigned to logical units (LUs), which
are logical volumes that can be accessed by open-system hosts. If no
paths are dened, the other columns on the right are left blank.
The icon
indicates a logical volume to which an LU path is dened.
LUN
The icon
indicates an expanded LU.
The icon
indicates a command device.
The icon
indicates command device security.
The icon
indicates a remote command device.
The icon
indicates a LUN to which no LU path is dened.
LDKC:CU:LDE
V
Displays the LDKC number, the CU image number, and the LDEV
number of a log
ical volume. These numbers are delimited by a colon
(:).
If an LDEV num
ber ends with the pound sign (#), the logical volume is
an external v
olume.
If an LDEV num
ber ends with the letter V,the logical volumeisa
virtual volume for HP StorageWorks XP Snapshot.
If an LDEV nu
mber ends with the letter X, the logical volume is a virtual
volume forHPStorageWorksXPThinProvisioningSoftware.
Displays the emulation types for each logical volume (or logical
device).
Emulation
ForLUSEvolumes,anasterisk(*) andanumberappear onthe right
of the emulation type. For example, OPEN-9*3 indicates that three
OPEN-9 volumes are combined.
Capacity
Displays thesizeof eachlogical volume.
Displays t
he RAID levelfor each logicalvolume.
RAID
If the logical volume is an external volume or a virtual volume, the
RAID column does not display the RAID level, but displays a hyphen
(-) instead.
Paths
Displays the number of alternate paths, if any.
Access Attribute Displays the access attribute of each logical volume.
The following appear below the table:
Selected LUNs Displays the number of LUNs selected in the table.
Displays the number of LUNs to which no LU path has been dened.
Remaining LUNs (Port)
Indicates the number of LU paths that you can add to the port
specied in the tree.
Displays the number of LUNs to which no LU path has been dened.
Remaining LUNs (GRP)
Indicates the number of LU paths that you can add to the host group
specied in the tree.
