Main Motor Removal
To remove the main motor:
1 Disconnect all external cables and attachments.
2 Open the front, back, and top covers.
3 Remove the photoconductor and place it in its protective packaging.
4 Remove the cleaner unit.
5 Remove the back cover. (See page 7-6.)
6 Remove the lower back cover. (See page 7-7.)
7 Remove the signal interface board. (See page 7-37.)
Do not allow the capacitor contacts to short out against your

body or the printer frame.
