Automatic Indicates that IO automatically selects the static IP addresses to be allocated
from the static IP address range set for the network.
NOTE: For HP Integrity VM deployment, use Automatic.
NOTE: Matrix infrastructure orchestration does not support DHCP for HP-UX
OS deployment.
None/External Indicates that infrastructure orchestration will allow provisioning of a server
with no IP address so that IP address preferences can be chosen later.
NOTE: Networks in Matrix infrastructure orchestration can be configured
without IP addresses using this option. The IP addresses can be provisioned
out-of-band to Matrix Operating Environment, or might not be needed (for
example, if you are using Active/Active NIC teaming). For more information,
see the HP Technical White Paper IPv6 Support in Insight Management
available at http://h20564.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/public/kb/
docDisplay/?docId=emr_na-c04051142.
7. On the Software tab, select the appropriate template to use. Only VM templates created using
the procedure in “Insight Control virtual machine management templates (page 47) are listed.
(Physical Insight Control server deployment jobs are displayed, but they are unavailable for
selection during the creation of a VM.)
When you use a Windows template, you can also choose a Sysprep file. The Sysprep files
for you to select must be located in ..\Program Files\HP\Matrix infrastructure
orchestration\conf\sysprep. When you click the Change button, all of the Sysprep
files in the directory are displayed.
