Parameter Name Status Description
groupname Optional Specify the group name used in the RAID Manager. The maximum
number of characters you can use to specify a group name is 31.
The group name cannot begin with a number sign (#) or a hyphen
(-).
NOTE: If the replicationgroupid parameter is specified, this
parameter is ignored.
pvolhostid Required (Method 2 or 3) If you are using method 2 or 3, specify the ID of the host that
recognizes the primary volume (P-VOL).
NOTE: If the replicationgroupid parameter is specified, this
parameter is ignored.
pvolinstancenum Required (Method 2) Specify the number of the Continuous Access XP instance that
manages P-VOL.
NOTE: If the replicationgroupid parameter is specified, this
parameter is ignored.
pvolportnum Required (Method 3) If you are using method 3, specify the port number of the
Continuous Access XP instance that manages P-VOL.
In Solaris™, specify an integer from 0 to 65535.
In AIX
®
, Windows
®
, HP-UX, and Linux
®
, specify an integer from
1 to 65535.
