Install the HP MPA software
Follow these steps to install the HP MPA software.
NOTE: HP MPA can only be installed on 32-bit Windows operating systems.
Internet Information Services (IIS) and Java Runtime Environment must be installed prior to installing HP MPA.
If you are upgrading from a previous version of MPA, always back up the database before upgrading MPA.
If you are upgrading from a previous version of MPA, the older version HP MPA must be uninstalled before a newer
version can be installed.
HP UPD v6.3.0 was the last release of the HP UPD supporting HP Managed Print Administrator (MPA). This
functionality is not supported in HP UPD 6.4.1 and later releases or in HP PARK 1.8.2 and later releases.
1. Double click HPMPAInstall.exe.
NOTE: Starting in HP MPA v2.7.0, this is an executable instead of an "msi" file.
2. When the HP Managed Print Administrator Setup Wizard opens, click Next.
3. When the Confirm Installation window opens, click Next.
4. The Installing HP Managed Print Admin window opens. A progress bar indicates the progression of the install.
Wait until the next window opens.
5. When the Installation Complete window opens, click Close.
When the installation completes, the browser opens with selections for accessing HP MPA.
