Managed Print Administrator
Introduction
HP UPD v6.3.0 was the last release of the HP UPD supporting HP Managed Print Administrator (MPA). This
functionality is not supported in HP UPD 6.4.1 and later releases or in HP PARK 1.8.2 and later releases.

template, which provides complete management of the HP UPD printing experience within your Active Directory
infrastructure.
Overview
With UPD 6.3.0 and earlier releases of the HP UPD, the HP Managed Print Administrator (HP MPA) software enables
the HP UPD to create a controlled and customized print environment.
The HP MPA software consists of three main components.
Managed Print Policies (MPPs)
Managed Printer Lists (MPLs)
User Groups
NOTE: HP MPA can only be installed on 32-bit Windows operating systems.
Internet Information Services (IIS) and Java Runtime Environment must be installed prior to installing HP MPA.
