displayed.
Media Management Commands
This section describes commands for managing and monitoring block storage
(vSHARE) media devices.
Media Initialization
media init device <device> type [block] [name <name>] [force]

device <device>
The <device> parameter indicates the array to be
initialized, and is a string of the form:
ata-
VIOLIN_MEMORY_ARRAY_xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
type
The type indicates block (vSHARE).
name
The name parameter is used to name the container.
The default is to reuse the existing name/serial
number.
force
The force parameter is used to force initialization
of an array that has already been initialized.
