5.4 Connect the Cables

5.4.1 Examine the 5157 ACL Rear Panel

Examine the components on the 5157 ACL rear panel to complete the

physical installation (see Figure 5-8).

5.4.2 Connect the SCSI Signal Cable

To connect the SCSI signal cable:

1. Connect one end of the SCSI cable to the leftmost SCSI signal

port on the 5157 ACL rear panel.

2. Secure the screws on each side of the connector.

3. Connect the other end of the SCSI cable to the SCSI connector

on the system, or for daisy-chained configurations, connect the

cable to the next SCSI device.
